Grace treasured her family. Grace was born to Herbert Bradford and Edith Mead in Hopkins County, Texas on November 21, 1926. Joey and Grace were married on the 1st of January in 1949 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Grace moved to Colorado Springs with her daughters and grandsons in 1994. She loved driving to see wonderful scenery, as she did love the absolute beauty of the Colorado Mountains. Always the quintessential Southern woman, Grace held to the faith, tradition and roles of a devoted mother and wife- sewing her girls beautiful dresses, cooking, and keeping a beautiful home and doing whatever she could for her family. Tradition was extremely important to Grace, and she was sure to pass those things onto her family.
